Fresh trouble for Sanjay

Denying the reports that they married as she was pregnant, in an exclusive interview to HT Café, Dutt said, “There's no truth to this rumour. Trust me, Manyata isn't pregnant."

On the question of the legality of his marriage, Dutt maintained, “My marriage is legal. The media has the photographs. We have spoken about it." At present, the Dutt couple is staying at their 11th floor home in Imperial Heights, Bandra away from the media glare.

But the officials in the sub-registrar's office said the documents have been sent to the Law Department for “scrutiny".

An inquiry has been ordered into the validity of the residence certificate Manyata has submitted. According to G P Nair, Collector of South Goa, the certificate didn't bear the signature of the senior official issuing it.

Fire causes $100K of damage to PSL home

PORT ST. LUCIE — Hurricane Wilma left Thomas Tomanek's home with about $120,000 in damages that took 18 months to repair.

On Friday, an early morning blaze caused about $100,000 in damages to his residence in the 6700 block of Northwest Duke Avenue. Still, the local man seemed relatively upbeat hours after the 12:30 a.m. fire.

"Nothing else to be," he said. "I can (lie) down in the driveway and cry if everybody wants me to, but it ain't going to do no good."

He said his wife, Raquel Montero, and 6-week-old daughter, Gabrielle, were in the bedroom, when his 13-year-old son, Brandon, started beating on the door. Brandon had walked to the garage to get a broom and saw a "small fire in the fuse box," Tomanek said. They all got out while Tomanek, a nightclub manager in Miami, was at work.

Chow Hound reviews

I've always thought that if a restaurant attaches its name to a dish on the menu, said dish should be something special. If, for example, you go to Bernie's Bistro and there on the menu -- in bold, yet -- is Bernie's Liver & Onions, it should be reasonable to expect said liver and onions to be the best you've ever had. After all, Bernie put his name on it (them?). Luckily that's just the case with Chilaquiles, a Mexican restaurant in Longwood, although it might have been a clever decision to choose a dish that few Central Floridians would be familiar with.

Toddlers, young kids can rock out next Friday

The pop-rock trio will shoot their fourth and fifth seasons this summer in Toronto, and there's talk of a Doodlebops movie and European tour.An ailing Greg Page recently retired after a 15-year stint with the Wiggles, the wildly popular tot-rockers from Down Under. The show has gone on, with a new man in yellow. But McNamara -- who has learned to play guitar like alter ego Rooney -- expects the Doodlebops won't bop 'til they drop. He'd like to see the show live on in reruns then evolve into a cartoon.Touring is hard on the trio, he noted, "and we've never, ever had understudies," he said."And none of us has ever missed a show. We've done it through food poisoning, laryngitis, a broken ankle -- we cover for each other."We can read each other like a book. We know when to step in."Overall, though, he has no complaints with kiddie iconhood.

Salley with his steely resolve

JONAS Salley's instinctive Ivorian spirit could return Adelaide United to the winner's list in its clash with Newcastle Jets at Hindmarsh on Sunday.

Adelaide sorely missed Salley's enforcer role during the 0-2 capitulation to Central Coast last Saturday.

A one-match ban halted Salley from putting his muscular frame amid the Mariners' pretty boys.

But the Jets could feel the full brunt of Salley with the Ivorian due to rip off the shackles as Adelaide tries to overcome two losses and a form slum.

He is hoping to release the tension he had encountered after nervously watching United give up second-spot on Saturday.

"We didn't play that well against Central Coast," Salley said.

"I was a little bit nervous watching the game.

Auto Clinic: Diagnose A Clanging Noise in Your Pickup, Address ...

I am the (once proud) owner of a 2006 F-250 pickup with the 6.0-liter diesel engine. The truck has only 8900 miles on it and the Check Engine light has already come on twice. Both times the cause was a defective “fuel pump module," repaired under warranty. I was told that if I add any more fuel after the pump nozzle's first click when I fill the tank, I am adding too much pressure to the tank; hence, the module is overwhelmed and goes bad. Yes, I even out my purchase prices, but I never keep filling the tank to the point that diesel fuel spills out past the nozzle. The service writer's explanation sounds weird.

Sounds pretty strange to me, too. The standpipe from the filler neck into the tank is placed so that there is an inch or more of free space above the fuel on any modern vehicle.
